The Best Coffee Shop in Africa

Every street corner has a coffee shop these days — the Starbuck, the Scooters, the Costa Coffee, the Caffé Nero you name it. Cozy, warm and convivial are adjectives usually used to describe them. However, no coffee shop has it like Truth coffee. Indeed, the stylish and chic coffee house has been designed with exposed metal pipes running across the ceiling, vintage typewriters, sewing machine and old candlestick telephone. The shop’s decor was inspired by Steampunk, a science fiction heavily influenced by nineteenth century aesthetic. The venue theme is fully present throughout the entire place — from the saw blade table tops to the extending mirrors to the restrooms. Thanks to the thoughtful eccentric décor designed by Chris Jones,Thuth Coffee tends to attract a quirky clientele. If you are ever in South Africa and you really enjoy coffee, this place should definitely be on your go-to list. Oh and did we forgot to mention that it was voted “the best coffee shop in Africa?”
